Property and rent management

Kotha: rooms to rent and a landlord rent book

Kotha lists rooms to rent in the Kathmandu Valley and gives landlords and tenants a shared rent book with Bikram Sambat (BS) months, receipts and repair requests.

The problem

Rent in Nepal is tracked in BS months and often on paper. A rent book that speaks in BS months and issues receipts removes a common source of disputes.
